Bournemouth Oceanarium offers half price tickets for Southampton postcode residents

Families within the SO postcode area can claim discounted tickets to the Oceanarium in Bournemouth this March!

Bournemouth Oceanarium has a fantastic offer this month for local residents. If you have a BH, DT, SO or SP postcode, you can claim half price standard day tickets, or even half price Gold Memberships which offer unlimited admission throughout 2019!

Half price day tickets for the Oceanarium cost just £6.25 per adult and £4.25 per child, a pretty reasonable cost for a fun family day out in Bournemouth. All you need to do is use the code LOCAL19 when purchasing online (you must then show proof of local postcode when you visit), or simply take proof of your postcode to purchase tickets on the day.

A half price Gold Membership for a local family of four costs just £52.40 (working out at just over £13 per person, which is only a little more than the usual adult day ticket price!) and sounds like an absolute bargain to me. To purchase online, enter GOLD19 at the checkout. Again, you’ll need to take proof of residence when you visit. With the membership, you’ll also get 20% off purchases in the gift shop and cafe.

You’ll be happy to know the Oceanarium has also confirmed their group of sharks and loggerhead turtle ‘Carrie’ are back on display after the Great Barrier Reef display’s recent refurbishment, incorporating the walk through tunnel. Visitors can also see the waddle of penguins, along with playful otters and even a crocodile! There’s an Adventure Quiz Trail and Kids’ Play Zone too.

The Oceanarium, like most aquariums, isn’t a particularly huge place, but you are welcome to re-enter multiple times throughout the day, which is great if you want to take advantage of its seaside location and take a stroll along the beach or do a spot of shopping while you’re there.

The half price offer is only valid during March 2019, for up to four people per proof of postcode. Full terms and conditions can be found at
