*6th Winchester (Abbotts Barton and Hyde) Scout Group is raising money to build a new shared community facility and ‘home’ for the group – the Barn. The Barn project will transform an area of scrubland in Abbotts Barton into an accessible local indoor
and outdoor facility. As well as providing a base for over 130 Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, the Barn will be a multi-purpose community facility supplying a much-needed space for Winchester’s residents of all ages to hold meetings, run clubs and host childcare facilities. The thoughtful design, which includes two halls and a meeting room, means that multiple activities can take place at any one time.
